Dedicating to my dear friends of HCL Tech's training batch HP-11

HP-11 ki baat hai Nirali
Jahaan kabhi hoti hai Coding to kabhi Kawali.

SHUCHI,NEHAPRAKASH aur VIPUL ke Gaane
to udhar AVINASh sir ke Bahaane
Kabhi SONIKA,DIVYA, aur NEHAPRAKASH ki Shanti
to kabhi ATUL aur RUPINDER ki Kranti.

PUNEET,VIKAS,SADHNA aur VAIBHAV ki Coding
to kabhi DEEPENDRA ke Sher
Par jab ANUJ,SAHIL aur ESHA bolte hain
to sab ho jaate hain Dher.

RACHITA ka Face Expression
ANUJ ka AVINASH Sir ke dimag me Impression
Whole of them give HP-11 a great Passion.

NIKHIL ki Sadgi ka kya kehna
par tab kya jab Shantivan PRIYASHIL ke sath pade rehna.

Class me TANVEER aur RUPINDER ki bhishan Neend

What next for Indian IT Industry?

When it comes to Information Technology, India seems to be synonymous of it. Today, we are matured contributor in this sector globally but danger lies in moving to be saturated. Last financial crisis brought lot of discussion about India’s well focused economic strategies and a very robust national framework but now the baton passes to Indian IT industry to find out its next paradigm to mark its shift.
It’s enough being associated with the tag of outsourcing industry, Body-Shopping, BPOs and that too with major dependencies on western country specially US. Whole of the industry starts shaking, when US administration even sneezes with the name of Indian IT. It’s high time now to realize the true potential of Indian IT workforce. We are fortunate enough to have large pool of young IT professionals, which provides great opportunity to increase our IT contribution share to GDP.Lots of migration has already been done from rural areas to urban city, where almost 60 percent of our population resides as dependent. We need to re-invent our business cycle about how can we reach every home of villages. Even, all FMCG, Manufacturing, BFSI and other sectors are investing lot to penetrate rural sector, these all can be our potential customers in making.
Further to focus, IMS (Infrastructure Management System) wing of IT industry owes huge responsibility to turn this prospect into a completely new business dimension for Indian IT industry, which in turn will provide great sustainability as well as will also help in developing new markets for FII to bring FDIs in rural sector as well.
Today, everyone speaks of cloud computing and its possible changes in market dynamics. We need to be ready and explore these avenues to get competitive advantage as it will encourage many new entrepreneurs to enter this huge IT market carrying the capability of changing the image of Indian IT industry to new level of Innovation and R&D.We need to position ourselves as Research oriented IT specialist having strong foothold as Business Consultancy. It’s high time to invest in IT training and awareness among common people so, that we can also come up with new innovative products, which can change ways of working of common individuals. We need to think why not India can have its own browser like Baidu in China challenging market share of Google very aggressively there, Why not can have our own Operating system to give new face to our IT industry.
We also need to diverse our industries geographical spread centered from US to squarely all across Globe to strengthen foundation of Indian IT industry especially to APAC, Middle-East, other developing countries . We can also contribute majorly in the sector of e-governance, e-commerce and other administrative reforms to proudly say- IT: Technology that touches lives. There are lots of social transformation avenues waiting for IT to step in like Education, Entertainment, Social awareness, Media, Publishing and administrative bureaucracy. We need our Business development team to be more aggressive in domestic market in contrast to international market only.
Being worked for HCLT’s most respected as well as challenging client for almost 3 yrs, I have seen how well we have provided support to Boeing’s real time critical operations than why not we can do the same for India’s aerospace industry, why not we can prove to be critical for our very own crippled defense artilleries, where we every time look towards Russia and US to show them that we are their dearest market for all defense requisites.
To conclude, I would just like to say that it’s still a start only and we have just set our footprints on this transformational IT journey and miles are still to cover with strong determination, committment and focus.
